An update from the CEO and a look at what’s coming in 2020

Happy Thursday!

It’s been another big week at Blogosphere HQ – we haven’t just been riding around the streets on doughnuts (!).

The CEO of Blogosphere, Alice Audley, catches us up on what we’ve been working on and what’s coming up soon…

Instead of our typical hour-long Tuesday team meetings, we’ve had two day-long meetings discussing content, our plans for 2020 and the new job roles available.

We’re currently working on issue 23 of the magazine, recording series 4 of the Blogosphere: Serious Influence podcast and meeting with brands to discuss collaborations for our events this year.

Speaking of podcasts, Alice is launching a brand new podcast in March… but you’ll just have to follow us for more information on that 😉

The team also went on an outing to Guildford last week, to have a meeting about the Blogosphere Network!

Don’t forget that the nominations for the Blogosphere Awards are opening on February 1st. And we have lots of other exciting launches up our sleeves for the year. But we’ll keep those under wraps for the time-being…

We had our weekly meeting on Tuesday and have lined up our initial plans for the rest of the year! We thought you’d like to know what key dates there are:

February 1st: Nominations for the Blogosphere Awards open.

March: Blogosphere: Serious Influence series 4 launches.

April 1st and 2nd: Issue 23 of Blogosphere magazine is published. Blogosphere Awards shortlist announced (and public vote opens).

May: * Blogosphere Awards 2020 *

August 1st: Issue 24 of Blogosphere magazine is published.

September: Blogosphere: Serious Influence Live event.

October: Blogosphere: Serious Influence series 5 launches.

November: * Blogosphere Festival *

December 1st: Issue 25 of Blogosphere magazine is published.

Whew! We’ve had a lot of fun this week, and it’s been exciting to plan out the year ahead. Work is now well and truly underway for the Awards and issue 23.
