Sima Sthanakiya is an award winning travel content creator and runs ‘the Curious Pixie’ website and social media channels with a focus on family and child-free travel to encourage parents to also travel without their kids. She brings with her 18 years of BBC TV production experience to her storytelling and content creation, and has a following of over 635,000 across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook. 

In 2023 Sima was awarded Travel bCreator of the Year. She is also a TikTok London ambassador, the face of KLM’s London inflight video ‘Hidden Gems in London’ and been featured in The Telegraph, The Guardian. TimeOut London and Euronews. 

Since her start in the industry Sima has built an impressive portfolio of global brand partnerships with numerous tourism boards as well as Disney, Microsoft, Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, The National Lottery, Hyundai, Samsung, HSBC and Qantas to name a few.
