Sophie Butler
Sophie Butler, the 28 year old Disabled & Queer Queen is a force to be reckoned with. Sophie uses her platform @sophjbutler to not only empower her audience of 135k followers, but also to educate through regular communication on subjects such as disability awareness and body image. Sophie’s embraced passion for creating change and awareness has led to her being the first wheelchair user to cover the Cosmopolitan Magazine in the UK, winning Cosmo’s ‘Health and wellbeing influencer of the year award in 2019.’
Alongside this, Sophie won the ‘Influencer’ award at the very first Scope Disability Awards in 2022 and most recently Lifestyle Creator of the Year at the bCreator Awards! Sophie works closely with many of the worlds leading brands not only to help educate and broaden awareness on the Disabled community, but to show the world that Disabled women are just as beautiful, intelligent and sexy as non-Disabled women. Sophie has also launched The Other Girl’s Club, an in-person club to bring people together who just love to be excited about things. Think, a book club, but for albums, movies, new releases, pop culture moments.
